Battle of the Books
Grades 7-8 Battle of the Books is diocesan competition between 7th and 8th graders who love to read. Students on the team each read approximately 14 books during the summer, fall and winter. In the spring a competition is held where the students answer questions in a head to head quiz against other schools.
Consecration to Jesus Through Mary
Students in grade 8 have the opportunity to go through the 33 day long devotional preparation for the consecration to Jesus through Mary. This devotion was first written by St. Louis De Montfort. We use the book 33 Days to Morning Glory written by Fr. Michael Gaitley, which focuses on the Marian teachings of St. Louis de Montfort, St. Maximilian Kolbe, St. Teresa of Calcutta, and St. John Paul the Great.
Geography Club: Students in grades 5-8 meet weekly to explore geography and other social studies topics.
In The Know
In The Know is an academic team. Students in grades 6-8 meet weekly to practice for academic competitions in central Ohio.
