My boyfriend, Dirk West, is having open heart surgery on November 24th. He's 66 years old and has two blocked arteries. The recovery time is about 3 months from what he's been told. He is not Catholic, but he admires the church and always felt he Should have been Catholic. He's particularly fond of novenas and feels the closeness to the Virgin Mary any prayers you could offer would be greatly appreciated. I believe the patron saint of heart problems is St John of God
