Resources

Seek: During the Fall semester, all family faith formation will use the Seek resource to focus on learning the basic Gospel message. This resource focuses on our at-church family sessions and does not have an at-home component.

Root: During the Spring semester, all family faith formation will use the Root resource to learn about God’s identity as taught in the Creed and the first section of the Catechism. There will be four at-church family sessions, along with six at-home family meetings included in the Root box resource. Parents will also have a book study to read and learn from between family meetings.1

Mend: Children preparing for first Reconciliation will learn from seven at-home family meetings included in the Mend boxed resource. Each family meeting has a follow through to be submitted on Martha.

Nourish: Children preparing for first Holy Eucharist will learn from ten at-home family meetings included in the Nourish boxed resource. Each family meeting has a follow through to be submitted on Martha.

Zeal: Children preparing for Confirmation will learn from seven at-home family meetings and one sponsor meeting in the Zeal boxed resource. Each family or sponsor meeting has a follow through to be submitted on Martha.

Martha: Martha is a formation management system where follow throughs are submitted to the faith formation director. You can access Martha through the website stbrendans-fflcm.talentlms.com or the app TalentLMS. Our domain for the app is stbrendans-fflcm.

Middle School Small Groups: Our middle school small groups meet at church once or twice a month. Our resources come from Ascension Press. 6th graders learn from Encounter: Bible Timeline for middle schoolers. 7th graders learn from Theology of the Body for middle school. 8th graders learn from Venture: Bible Timeline for teens.
