Growth in faith is a lifetime journey which occurs within a community and is guided by the Holy Spirit.  You, the family, are the primary community in which faith is shared, nurtured, explored and exampled.  Children need to be supported and affirmed in living out their faith and must be provided with the tools to make difficult age-appropriate moral decisions, to act justly toward all, and to witness to their beliefs in word and deed.

Our Faith Formation Program is designed to assist parents in developing a faith that is alive and active in the world today.  Faith formation opportunities are available to all members of our parish, as well as those wishing to learn more about our Catholic faith.  Faith Formation classes are available starting with three years old and continues through eighth grade.  A youth ministry program, Life Teen, is available for high school students.  St. Brendan's parish missions and bible study groups offer a spiritual growth opportunity for adult members of the parish.

The Ministry of Faith Formation provides the following options for religious education:
    Sunday Morning Program:
         Usually begins in October to the end of April
              classes are offered during the 8:45 a.m. AND the 10:30 a.m. Mass
              3, 4 & 5 year olds
                    5 year olds 10:30 a.m. Mass only
              Kindergarten
              Transitional Kindergarten
                    10:30 a.m. Mass only
              First Grade (start when Monday MFF classes begin)

    Monday Evening Program:
         Classes begin in September and end in May
              Grades 1-6
                     4:40-5:45 p.m. AND 6:15-7:30 p.m.
              Junior High - 7 & 8
                     the interactive EDGE program
                           6:16-7:30 p.m. only
