We have exciting news from the St. Brendan Facilities Needs Assessment committee.
Architect Peter Krajnak shared last Thursday with ministry leaders a summary of their responses to a space-needs survey completed last month.
Peter’s report included recommendations for renovations to existing spaces and observations on how to address the future space needs of our growing parish.
Please note we are still in the very early stages of this important project. Vital steps include sifting through needs versus wants of each ministry – and office staff – to determine the best way forward for our parish.
And, with each step, we will keep all of you informed of our progress.

It is working together as a family that we ensure our parish and its many ministries continue to grow and thrive.
What is a facilities-needs assessment?
It is a process to identify existing space utilization and collect information for projecting future space needs.
Why does Saint Brendan’s need such an assessment?
Results from a recent Parish survey highlight a majority of parishioners are unaware of the church campus’ current available space and how it is being used. This assessment will help ensure informed decisions can be made as a Parish about our space and usage needs of today and in the future.
What are the current facilities available to our church community and who is using them?
More than 60 Parish ministries and office staff use our facilities for Parish administration, meetings, events, storage and service to others. An overview of these facilities can be seen on the following map:
Who is on the Saint Brendan Needs Assessment team?
