St. Brendan uses FlockNote to help people feel connected. Parishioners receive regular updates and important news from our pastor, the parish office team and parish groups and ministries via FlockNote email.
Are you a registered parishioner? If you have not subscribed already, we ask that you go ahead and subscribe to our Flocknote Network. This is a huge help to us in keeping you informed and connected. People's details change regularly and there is a chance we have missed signing you up or your contact information has changed: like your cell phone and email, which many--or even most--parishioners now have.
Are you visiting? New to the area? You are welcome to sign up too! That way you can find our more about our parish community and ministries too. Most groups are open to new members, except those kept confidential for privacy reasons.
Click on "Uno," the little sheep icon in the top right hand corner of every page, and a registration form will come up in a new window. Enter your first and last name, your email and a password of your own choosing (you'll use this password in the future to access Flocknote). The full registration form comes up next. The minimum information required is your first and last name, and phone number(s), your email and postal addresses.
A WORD ABOUT PRIVACY - Your personal information cannot be accessed by another individual registered on the network. Only members of your own groups can send you a message (and then, they don't see your email address). No one except an authorized network administrator has access to any member's information.
Flocknote is two-way communication. Your private replies are welcome. Messages may allow for comments, and you'll get to share your own thoughts and also see...
Beyond just getting useful and timely information delivered to you efficiently, we plan to use Flocknote in the future for faith-growing opportunities. For example, Bible studies, workshops or book clubs can easily be launched on Flocknote. The possibilities are endless when we have a good communication system.
You'll also be helping in another way. Going to Flocknote as our main means of communication will save us a substantial amount of postage cost. In the near future we intend to relaunch the Currugh, our Parish Newsletter, as a quarterly eJournal. It will be delivered exclusively via Flocknote.
If you need assistance with Flocknote, please contact Penny Hansen (614.876.1272 ext 224 or email@example.com). Thank you.
