Baptisms

Special preparation is required for infant, child, and adult baptism.

          Infants
Parents wishing to have their first child baptized need to attend one baptismal preparation class. Classes are held the first Wednessday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in the Cry Room of the church. Infants are baptized on Sunday at 1:30 p.m.. Please contact the Parish Office (614-876-1272) at least one month in advance to schedule the date of the baptism.

          Children
Unbaptized children need to be enrolled in religious education classes. Supplemental preparation for the sacrament involving parent and child will be given. When the child has completed the preparation, a baptism will be scheduled. Please contact the Parish Office (614-876-1272) to make these arrangements.

          Adults
Adults wishing to be baptized in the Catholic faith should contact the religious Education Office (614-876-9533) concerning the R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) program. R.C.I.A. classes meet each Tuesday night, beginning in the Fall.
